Since graduating from law school, Ms. Cassett has dedicated her career to personal injury litigation. She initially began working for insurance companies, defending cases brought by injured individuals. She was an associate attorney at a reputable law firm in Cape May County for almost 10 years. It was not until Ms. Cassett suffered her own back problems that she realized she was on the wrong side.
In 2015, Ms. Cassett began fighting for people injured in accidents. Having the unique experience of working for insurance companies for nearly a decade, Ms. Cassett knew exactly how to fight against them. Ms. Cassett was a victim of a dog attack as a child, requiring hundreds of facial stitches. This experience made it important for Ms. Cassett to help others in a similar situation. She became a Partner in a law firm that only handled dog bite cases and furthered her specific knowledge of the dog bite practice.
Ms. Cassett’s own personal experiences are what shaped her very specific niche of personal injury law. She is a Court Appointed Superior Court Arbitrator and volunteers her time as Civil Mediation Panelist. When she is not in the courtroom, Ms. Cassett is busy with her two children.
